Gaeta Posted December 4, 2021 Posted December 4, 2021 (edited) Anything is possible BUT if you gather statistics on the % of fast & heavy that lasted versus slow and steady....I will risk a wild guess that the slow and steady has a higher rate of success. I mean just look at the amount of stories we have here starting fast & heavy that die under 3 months. We don't have that many horror stories on couples that took their time. Yah, I know a couple who met while on vacay in Hawaii, 4 DAYS later they married on the beach, they are still happily married, it's been like 6 years. Last I talked to her, he is still the absolute love of her life. Sometimes, you meet someone and just "know" but it IS a risk, sometimes that risk pays off, sometimes not. I think there is also such a thing as being "too cautious" where you overthink your way out of anything happening at all... versus simply letting it all happen naturally and going for it. I see that happening quite a bit. Edited December 5, 2021 by Girl Fade Away 1
Author Alpacalia Posted December 5, 2021 Author Posted December 5, 2021 Yeah, no. I would not marry someone I knew for a mere 24 hours.
