UniverseInMe Posted November 29, 2021 Posted November 29, 2021 (edited) My ex, who I broke it off with 1 1/2 years ago in a pretty volatile way, called me 1 week ago out of the blue. I was at a family party and left my phone for a few minutes and when I got back to check it I noticed I had a missed call from her. She even left me a voicemail. I didn't bother checking the voicemail until the next day. To be honest I was dreading it. When I finally checked it it I was her congratulating me on my engagement, lol. Apparently she got the news from her sister and sister's fiancé that I was engaged. I was like "WTF???" Not only am I not engaged but I don't even have a girlfriend. So this was incredibly bizarre. Do you think this was some ploy on her part to get a rise out of me in hopes of me responding to her? And no, I have zero intention of calling her ever again. The woman was toxic as hell.
