Connect on LinkedIn. It was never intended as a flirt, come on or dating interest. Sorry you  misinterpreted it .

Why though? Like I said, you need a thicker skin. Whether it's her or another girl, there's probably a bit of good torture in the process and time frame between having a romantic interest in someone and seeing it come to fruition.  It can take an hour or it can take a year, maybe even longer (generally speaking for people).  Perhaps your problem with not having a thick skin about this is that you've made it an instant priority when it should just be something bubbling on the back burner.  If you had other dating things (or social things) going on, i doubt this would be as torturous.  You need to get to that place to be a good prospect for most girls TBH.

That's fine, you can network through the work email system.

Next time try not to build a fantasy in your head when a colleague or former colleague stays in touch.

Instead continue using the dating apps, maybe mentioning some specifics like interests, lifestyle etc. Such as gambling,  casinos, watching sports, sleeping in on weekends, etc.

The key is to attract compatible like-minded women, so the more forthcoming you are about your hobbies, interests and lifestyle, the less hassle it will be trying to get things off the ground.

Umm because I havent heard from her since I gave my number lol    So why all of a sudden she is no longer interested in how I am doing?  So I guess that is it

You made the mistake of giving you her number, not getting her number from her so you could call her.
