I think I have a crush on a girl that I met at the beginning of the month. What should I do?

I look at her sometimes in class and I am too shy to talk to her. I am also alone at breaks and lunches at school. I think I am developing a crush on her and when I try to deny it, I look at her more and too shy.

She gave everyone their maths books and when she gave it to me, she smiled at ne. She sometimes looks at me too during class.

What should I do?

You are going to have to be brave but you can do it in stages.

First smile back at her when she smiles at you.  Do that for a while.

Work up to being able to say hi to her.  Make it a point to greet her every day in school.  Be warm & friendly.

Eventually you have to work up the courage to talk about something . . .anything.  Good topics are things from class; how your school teams is doing; what you did over the summer; your plans for the weekend; something local & interesting.  Small talk is a skill.  It's time you learned it.  Like riding a bike you won't do it perfectly the 1st few times.  It's about practice & breaking the ice.

Don't stare. Smile be friendly to everyone including her.

Practice confidence. Just start chitchatting with classmates on breaks and lunch about general school stuff. Eventually start talking to her.
