Is it possible to be heteroromantic and be open to dating the same gender if its like casual?  Like for people who are heteroromantic bi, is this possible if its not looking for a relationship and maybe out of curiosity/casual?

You mean be bisexual? Bicurious?  Yes.

for some they might just enjoy the sex part.  Women are interested in men because of sex and having a child but they might much more emotionally connected for a relationship with women.

No it is not possible.  The word 'hetero' means attracted to the opposite sex only.   Therefore, if a person is open to considering sexual contact with someone of the same gender, then they fall into the category of LGBTQ

Is this about your crush?

It would be best to clarify if this woman you have a crush on is even interested in dating you. Otherwise scanning her social media to attempt to determine her sexual orientation and identity is just obsessing.

I know two women that are like this, where they go for guys for serious relationships but are open to women for on the side.  Unless it's not possible and it is more complicated than they make it out to be.

Don't worry about labels, unless for some reason where you live what you do with another consenting adult is criminalized or oppressed.   The human heart and emotions and desires can be amazing things that shouldn't be fit into pigeonholes in my view; so sure it is possible.

If you know it's a thing, why ask the question?

Would it be ok to still identify as heteroromantic then?

In what context?   Are you talking about yourself or others?
