d0nnivain Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 Stop. You are going about this all wrong. Right now she is your friend. You can't go straight from that to asking her to be your GF. It doesn't work that way & is far too jarring. Step one is to take her out on a date. Ask her out & spend time with her. Do that 3-4 times then ask her to be your GF. You can share the chocolates with her if you like but giving them to her seems like you are trying to buy her. The 1950s ended a long time ago. You don't have give flowers & candy on a date. Many women will balk if you take this approach.
Blind-Sided Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 I'm just about to hit 50 yo... i've never once asked a girl to be my GF directly. If you are dating, and you both like each other... then it just becomes a BF/GF situation. The only think you really need to talk about is... in a couple months... to make sure you 2 are exclusive. Give her the candy... but relax.
