Truevette Posted August 8, 2021 Posted August 8, 2021 So I get this alot men always say I'm very comfortable and soothing/calming like a peace. What exactly does that mean? Lol. A lot of them tend to curl up on me and fall asleep in my lap or on my chest like a baby and are very surprised that it happened or that it happens real quick like the first time we hang or chill (no sex). I know it's a good thing I guess but I'm wondering what it means it happens all the time .

One man told me when l listen to people l lean just a bit toward them and it makes them feel the center of my attention. Now l'm not like that cause i'm special, l'm like that because l worked with small children for years. Those are all skills used in day care lol, look in the eyes, listen well, lean toward to get their full attention. I guess it makes men feel secure like when they were little boys. 2

I'm not placing them on me they usually just come and lay on me like that. I'm usually just sitting there and here they come. 1

I can't imagine a guy I barely know draping himself on me in that manner, nor would I enjoy it if we are just meeting. That aside, I thiknk they simply mean what they say: you are a calm person. Some people are more frenetic and energetic and moving around a lot, others are more chill and quiet. It sounds like you all into the latter category. I've had boyfriends tell me the same thing, that I'm mellow and they feel peaceful in my presence. I just take it as an observation of my general demeanour.

You have a talent for making people feel safe with you. I don't think it means anything else in particular. The only thing to remember is not to put your needs aside all the time in favour of those of others'. Sometimes people end up taking care of everyone but themselves. 1

But l take it they aren't sticking around bc you say guys always blah blah so it sounds like there's been a lot but no keepers.
