The only reason I didnt delete her number and block her for cancelling the 1st date was because she suggested the next day

Wow I thought she was going to be a no show too!

So glad you both showed up and had a great time!

While things are hopefully getting off the ground, work on shifting your energy to more of a positive place...women can tell when guys are bitter and vice versa...it turns us off every time

Good luck! :)

I still believe she had a date Saturday night with another guy, but he turned out to be a fail, so she kept the date with @IntBrowser

Going forward, if these cancellations keep happening, though; I would "NEXT" her.

Best of Luck to the OP.

well she did show up in my city this evening and we had a nice italian meal and a little walk afterwards.     So I will go to her area the next time since she came to my city today.    So it was a nice evening.   Ended with a hug and she told me I smell good.    I think that maybe my first time ever hearing that lol

This is nice to hear, OP

Well done. Try to stay positive and see where this might lead.

I always feel there's a huge disconnect between men and women in dating. I think the disconnect cannot be any bigger than on first dates.

I mean I get it with the comments "come from an abundance mindset" and "just schedule a date with another girl same time incase she cancels". But thats not how

dating has worked for me ever. I'm VERY lucky if I can schedule a date once every 3 months. If I schedule one with a girl I met not through tinder,

I probably have liked her for at least 3 months. So yes, if she cancels on me I tend to get devastated and not want to bother with it anymore.

Cancelling a first date because the wind blew the wrong way seems reasonable to you (from a female mindset). But for me at least (I can't speak for all guys)

I may have been working myself up to ask you out for 3-6 months. When you cancel because you "slept in" or something while I am rearranging

my schedule to make the day work because it was a lot of emotional effort to do this, it is particularly crushing.

All said as a guy you are best understanding the situation. This women just doesn't get your point of view, so in her mind her behaviour is fine,

and you would do best to reschedule and stay positive.....
