OK everyone its 1205pm eastern time and let the countdown begin

I havent heard anything from her as of yet, just from women I havent met yet or new matches.     So lets see what happens between now and 6pm.     if I was going to go tonight I would be leaving out at 620pm/630pm

She is coming from another state and i told her I will reimburse her for parking and pay for dinner.    So I dont think anyone would take a long drive with any type of communication

she said the dinner is at 7pm right?    and I said yes at 7pm.      That was my last text.     So I dont think someone is going to just leave based off that last text and not call me tonight in the afternoon to confirm.    So that's why I have my back up dinner all planned out if I dont hear anything by 6;30pm

 

The thing that sucks is I ran out of food and I am starving right now and cant do anything about it until 7pm this evening,

Always keep a couple of packs of "Oodles of Noodles" in your home. They have a great shelf life and are ultra cheap.  When you are starving, they'll taste FANTASTIC.

I really dont want to make it obvious I was stood up so i will stand a block and text to see if she is in the area.   If not then I will just go to Traders Joes around the corrner and buy my groceries for the week and pick up dinner on the way home

Her is my procedure for a first date (that doesn't want me to pick her up).  I make the date/time at a restaurant that I like that has a bar in it and serves Guinness on tap.

I get there 15 minutes early, order myself a beer.  If she is over 30 minutes late, I order myself a steak (medium-rare) and another pint of Guinness.  If she shows up while I'm eating, she can eat with me at the bar.  If she never shows up, I'll have had a great meal, a few pints of my favorite beer and didn't completely waste my evening.

I'll never stand someone up.  It just not my style to do that nor be vindictive.

Yeah Trader Joes is a 2 min walk from the restaurant we are going to.    Actually I will be going there after the date since I wont be far from it and that way I would have to go during the Monday evening rush hour

Wow, I just checked in and this was the first thing I read.  And I very humbly admit that I am happy I was wrong!
