One of the characteristics of people with anti-social personality disorder (I.e psychopaths) is not conforming to societal norms. They’ll also not put up with your crap.

Exactly. The question was ‘top five’. Didn’t say the only five.

That must mean I am a psychopath then, because I prefer to not conform to societal norms either.

At least as far as relationships and marriage are concerned.... which is mostly what I meant.

A free and independent thinker, not a robot.

No cheaters (past or present).

No drugs.

Mutual respect.

Accountability.

Trust.

This list leaves room for the severely mentally ill. I knew an honest, empathetic, trustworthy girl that before being heavily medicated would that would reliably and dependably touch a hot flat iron because she thought he family would die if she didn’t. ( OCD )

Yup, and OCD is very treatable. Not a dealbreaker for me.

So I’m the only one that doesn’t mind ash tray mouth? (Smokers are hot?) More for me, then …

It is in a lot of cases, but that’s just one example. There are a lot of cases of crazy that aren’t . But if you’re cool with it as long as they’re reliable and dependable about it, that’s cool. Because they usually are.

They also don’t have the best hygiene either but I guess that isn’t an issue for you anyway so

We all have our bar

I don't mind a smoker cookies, as long as he maintains good oral hygiene.

If I fell in love with him, I may encourage him to quit though, my mom died from lung cancer after years of smoking....  may she RIP.

OK... now I understand.

A quick google search pointed me in the direction of plain rectangular Architecture and building design.  I didn't think that is what @Cookiesandough meant.

I am fairly certain I have OCD, at least on some level..... food for example.

None of my boyfriends ever took issue with it.

Is this top five or only five we can have? Because if so I want to change ‘atheist/agnostic’ to ‘kinky/busts it wide open’

Reliability overall. If their mental illness interferes with their reliability (I.e. I can’t count on them to do what they said they would do) then it would be a dealbreaker.  Hygiene isn’t a dealbreaker in that when my wife comes back sweaty from exercising I’m not the least bit turned off. Or first thing in the morning before she’s brushed her teeth for that matter…

I said there were more.

But in truth, I MIGHT forgive a liar or cheater IF he was truly remorseful and learned from it and vowed to NEVER do again.

I might also date an ex-con, again assuming he was remorseful, paid his dues, learned from the experience and grew, evolved as a result of having experienced.

my rule on cheaters..if I catch them I can’t forgive. They tell me first I can.

cheating is not the problem. The problem always is something else

Just over a decade ago, I dated a wonderful beautiful redhead that was a two pack a day smoker.  She and I got along great and dated for quite a while.  I didn't mind the fact that she smoked, one bit.

Sadly, she developed stage 4 lung cancer and is no longer with us.

LOL, like I said with me it's food, I am very ritualistic (obsessive) about food.  I will eat the same thing for weeks, then get bored with it and will never eat it again.  Ever!

Like for awhile, all I ate for breakfast was smoked salmon with cream cheese on sourdough toast.  It's SUPER expensive and I spent a fortune on it.

After about a month, maybe longer, the thought of it made me want to puke!  lol

Now I have around 4 packages of nova lox smoked salmon in my freezer that I will probably never eat!

Like being dishonest? Selfish? Not caring  about others? Or not caring about the consequences of their actions?

Your list also doesn’t exclude those heavily into MLM and women without functional vaginas.( but that’s okay, I’m not judging you as you did me)
