In 5-6 years "poor" BF may be the envy of the neighborhood with his very attractive wife who's also a good mom, etc, etc. This (to us) large amount of money may simply be worth it to him.

Maybe.

All we have is OP's word that she is attractive; we've never seen her. Not to mention that the personal characteristics she displays -- lack of boundaries, acting in a sexually provocative manner with men, sense of entitlement, poor financial management skills -- can quickly offset whatever beauty she supposedly possesses.

I think the bf is in for some LT misery, honestly.

Sure, that's possible, too. He no doubt is in the short term since he's celibate, but whatever - this whole thing is something he agreed to + to be expected when dating certain types of women (e.g. with the "traditional" views regarding sex).

I think ideally Tony is the old friend/orbiter who was attracted to her but nothing of great significance ever came of it. Whether that's how things play out and/or there are actual "pool boys" in the sense you mean one day remains to be seen.

BTW, your mention of pool boys brought this to mind. Quite tangential, but still...
