hunnibee858 Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 My ex and I broke up a year ago. We have a 2 y/o son together. He has dated alot since we split up. I have only been in one relationship. The man I'm with now is 36 older than me. I care about him, but I cant stop thinking about my ex. My ex and I was together for 3 years. He has a girlfriend now, and I dont want to mess that up. I still love him and I want us to have a life together. Please help me solve this.......

Art_Critic Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 If you think making a play for your ex would work then do it.. It sounds like he has moved on though but get rid of the other guy.. It isn't fair to him to be with someone who has feelings for another.

No one wants to be a "backup" in a relationship. Yes you should tell your ex if you are ready to do that. Be prepared for something you might not want to hear though. If he is worth it to you, however, you should take that chance.
