So men really wonder about escalating things physically after only one date? About kissing her only for a few dates before considering running your hands on her or going to her place.

Just to be clear this was the 3rd date. 1st date we didn't have any physical contact. 2nd we kind of brushed against each other a lot I touched her shoulder and safe places, but didn't kiss her. Now that date #4 is coming up and we're meeting close to her place I was thinking it would be nice to escalate to making out since I really like her and feel a strong emotional connection.

Again, just get out of the way of things. You don't have to "do" anything. Just go with the energy of the date and you'll kiss passionately if that's what you're both feeling or not.

Just show up and pay attention and make clear when you're having fun, with a smile or with words.  You want to be honest and authentic here, but during the date, when you're feeling great about her, say so. "I'm having a great time with you. These times have been great." That's a safe escalation right there. Make sure to look at her during the day and smile if you're feeling good.

Then shut up and pay attention to her response. Just focus on the date and when the time comes you'll be making out for days if that's what you (and she) want.

Here's how you do it:

You go for the kiss. When you've kissed, instead of naturally slowly pulling back to starting position, you stop, wait. You kiss, stop kissing slowly, but don't lean back, stay still, if she doesn't pull back you go in for a second kiss. If she doesn't pull back after that you initiate making out.

I don't think he needs to show up in shorts and crocs with socks to be cool or stand out.  But agree, just play it by ear.

Yep. I've done well playing it by ear so far. Something I've noticed is I get more attached I get more of a fear of making a mistake and start trying to look up advice from online videos or overthink things. I need to just stick with what's gotten me this far.

Ironically you have more room to relax the further in you get. Just lose the fear that an awkward kiss ruins things.

What you want to do well is pay attention to how the kiss feels, to just enjoy it.

What exactly is your question?  I've never wondered anything.  I just let things take their natural course and it's always worked out well for me.

Reminds me of my first kiss.

I'm not sure what he was trying to do but it didn't feel "french" at all.

I had an ex who did it also, and it was awful. I had to have a "chat" with him. It was clear he was inexperienced or no one ever told him its not nice.

Do men like an entire tongue tickling their hangy ball? Probably not. Hahahaha So I dont understand the ram it down her throat mentality.  Hahahaha

What should we do with our tongue? I kissed her again and then she went in and kissed me and then we both just kind of looked at each other. I've still not tried to use any tongue at all.
