shakdas Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 if someone could help me out on this, that would be cool, considering i'm completely confused by this. i've been after a girl for a long time now, and i should be over her by now. her best friend, who is one of my best friends, told me that the girl i like realizes that i'm nicer than any guy she's ever dated. but for some reason, she won't date nice guys, and only dates a**h***s that break her heart. so my friend told me that she doesn't date nice guys because she's scared of things like that. i understand some girls just don't date nice guys, but i can't figure out why this girl keeps getting hurt, but won't date somebody nice. thanks.
superd Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Alot of girls these days like the bad boy type, for whatever thats worth.
elijahBailey Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 There's a huge thread on why some girls go for bad boys. It's just the way things are. Personally, I'll pass this one. Even if you get her, you probably wouldn't be able to keep her. There are girls who'll settle for a nice guy. Just keep a look out for these. And when you find them, chances are that they're marriage material.
superd Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Elijah, why would they "settle" for a nice guy as if nice guys are of less worth than bad boys. Also, not all girls like badboys.

Also, not all girls like badboys. yeah "settle" does have a condescending tone there doesn't it. That ain't want I meant tho. I agree there are many women out there who'd spare themselves the agony of dating the badboys. And although not all girls like badboys, they sure wouldn't want someone so "nice" they could just trample over them like a doormat.
Author shakdas Posted October 18, 2005 Author Posted October 18, 2005 makes sense, but what does it mean 'she's scared of things like that'?
sfifer71 Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 As crazy as this sounds, some girls don't think that they're "worthy" of a nice guy . . . trust me on this one . . .
elijahBailey Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 makes sense, but what does it mean 'she's scared of things like that'? . too mushy . no thrill/excitement . nothing to pique her interests . boring It's suffocating to some women who prefer to be led and dominated and also to feel protected.
