Sphinx78 Posted April 7, 2021 Posted April 7, 2021 (edited) Just a question here.... My ex girlfriend always looks down at the ground when we pass each other at the gym or in public. I haven't seen this type of behavior from any other ex. The breakup wasn't my idea. She can't seem to face me. Thoughts? Is it appropriate to try and speak with her? Guilt? Shame? Avoidance of awkwardness, not guilt or shame. No, don't approach her, she's clearly avoiding it. Do you hope to reconcile?
Author Sphinx78 Posted April 7, 2021 Author Posted April 7, 2021 We knew each other for a few years before dating. We were together about a year and a half, breakup was caused by "being present". Hopes for reconcilation, unsure. She knew the break up took a toll on me, she had a guy moved in a couple of weeks later. I used the gym as therapy in a way, then I run into this after I changed the workout time to avoid crowds. She actually turned around in the gym and walked in the other direction one morning when she saw me. That was tough to take, I will admit.
