Assuming you have friends & you know about the give & take, what have you done to find a GF? Have you ever asked somebody on a date? How did that go?

I really want to get married but don't think I will ever find anyone I cant offer much but to say I am 37 in 2 months and never had a GF either. Its a very lonely road this but you need to somehow not let it cloud your life, find things that make you happy and pursue those. There are ways to find a GF but unfortunately there is no certain way to find someone you really want to do. You need to accept its effectively a process you have very little control over barring being the best version of yourself. One thing I cannot understate is the need to not let the feeling of being lonely cloud your life, everywhere you look you will see couples, you may have tried to date and got rejected but you cannot look at your own life and compare it to other, much like a piece of art we are all unique and yes it does hurt to not find success you need to get up and keep walking forward.

What do you think has been preventing you from meeting someone? What's currently stopping you from going down the traditional routes, and what are you doing to overcome it? What are you like? If so, what happens when you approach them? Are they receptive or do they run away screaming? This matters.
