Love, trust, and friendship I think most guys want to be in love with the woman. They want her to be their best friend and feel close connection to her. They need to trust her and believe that she will be there for them. Myths Men don't care about sex as much as it is generally believed when it comes to marriage. Culinary skills are also overestimated as very important. I think men are equally comfortable with a career woman as much as with a housewife as long as she makes enough time for him. What they hate Messy life, unreliability, dishonesty, but most of all women who are selfish and argue often. Guys, please correct me if I am not right about something and add if I missed something.

Spot on for all the 3 categories. In my own words, the following is what makes a woman marriage material.. 1. A good mother. Just observe the way she is around babies or children. Which also means that she's not the career-type woman. I never believe a career woman will ever make a good mother. I've seen too many of these among my circle of friends. 2. In control of her own emotions. We all have emotions but a woman who can't control them and who needs to rant every single day will drive me away at the blink of an eye 3. Willing to put you first most of the time. Sure we all have our priorities but I vote for someone who's more willing to give. Now, some women are gonna dispute this and say most women are the giving type. To that I say 'no way'. Women these days are always lookin' out for what the guy can do for her. 4. Lastly.... very important .... being very feminine. These women are definitely the minority now, and I sometimes wonder who wears the pants in the relationship. Not sure about Europe, but maybe RP can shed some light there. I personally find Asian girls very feminine in the way they carry themselves; they just exude femininity.

You want a woman who can take care of herself but you want one of these women who is so obsessed with her independence that she is afraid of love. They will eventually find marriage sufocating and will dart. At the same time you want a woman who can support herself. 2.A woman who gets along well with men. Many women just flat out hate men and then wonder why their relationships fail. It is a plus if a woman gets along well with her father and male family members and has male friends. It shows that she relates well to men. With some women you can just sense the hostility against men 3.A woman who can control her emotions. We will have emotions but a woman who will make rash decisions a the drop of a hat will be nightmare. These are the type of women that will love you one day and hate you the next. They are also the type that will always be questioning the marriage and will up and leave fpr any reason to go find herself because she isn't being fulfilled. Just read the divorce forum of this board for examples of men who have fallen victim to this type 4.A woman who can lighten up and have fun. Many women don't know how to have any fun and are just one big ball of drama. Being able to laugh and enjoy herself is a must
