Why isn't my post count changing?

@PaulCan you tell me why my post count isn't changing, even though I've made several since last night? I just think it's odd. The posts haven't been deleted. Thank you.

Oh, it just changed, as I made this post. Weird. My other posts were in the political forum. I'm not having to wait for post approval, so it's confusing.

We made a change recently to only increase your post count on posts made in the on-topic forums. I hope that explains the mystery!
