How do you figure when Brit was the last to text?

I really don't think that matters though, I think if she wants to send a text, she should.

Wrong or right, I probably would even if I were the last one to text.

I've double texted, heck I have triple texted when I am really into a guy.

Not that I would advise that (triple texting lol) but imo this "who texted last" game is a bit silly, if you want to text, just text, forget the "rules."

JMO!

Ok so I reacted to his facebook stories about the photo he took of the ocean that I loved it. He immediately just replied "me too" with emojis . And nothing more. Ha!

In the US, would it be customary for a guy to send a Valentine to a woman he's only dated twice?

Hmm I don't know the answer to that but I received a happy valentines day DM from strangers on social media today. So why is it so hard for him to text me that?

Again, I don't know the custom in the US, but I'm guessing a Valentine from stranger is meaningless, but one from a guy who's dated you twice is open to misinterpretation.

I am curious what that misinterpretation would be.  That he likes her?  That he's interested in her more than a friend?  That he would like to take her out again?

Isn't that precisely what this holiday means and is for?  To express our romantic interest in someone?

Although for many, it's a holiday, a chance to connect with each other.

Either way, I find it odd he hasn't but yet posts emojis to her reaction to his FB story.

I think Gaeta has it right - maybe he's just an idiot.  😆

I don't know precisely what this holiday means, hence me stating that I don't know the custom in the US ;)

However, it's only been two dates, and like the OP, he may be unsure whether or not he does have any romantic interest.  He wouldn't want to signal it romance if he's not there yet, would he?

I'm losing faith in this guy. I took his defense for pages and pages and he's disappointing me now.

Ok faith is back on !!!!!

My theory is he initiated texting twice after your date. He was hoping you'd initiate to confirm you're still interested.

Now he will contact you for a third date.  I'm sure of it.

Thursday he paid for the date

He text her after the date that night

Friday he initiated texting

He's just waiting for OP to initiate communication, it's her turn.

It's not a game, it's just human to wish for a return.

This has been my impression all along.

Gaeta, Britney just posted she was the last one to text - goodnight.  So if we're gonna play that game, the ball is in his court.

Being the last one to text "Goodnight" doesn't mean anything unless she was the one who initiated that conversation in the first place. If she never initiates conversations, that can make a guy take a step back, especially a guy who has previously been in a one-sided relationship.

It's different. For someone who doesn't know you, there's nothing at stake. For someone who likes you and is dating you but isn't sure about your feelings for him or vice versa and doesn't know how you'd interpret Valentine's Day greetings, there may be something at stake.

He didn’t want to. Thats why he didn’t. A lot of people don’t care about silly stuff like Valentine’s day (i am one of them) LOL
