Does it sound like she asked me on date or just as friends?

Yeah women are pretty astute w/r/t determining a man's interest in her.  

I know there are dating gurus like PUA wannabe, Corey Wayne, who espouse women are more interested when they're unsure of a man's interest, which was true maybe when I was an insecure teenager, but any women with even an ounce of self-esteem becomes interested in the man who demonstrates his interest, escalates and pursues.

So yeah, this one is done as far as anything romantic, keep her as a friend, which you've been all along anyway.

That's perfectly fine. I guess I'm trying to figure out the line between showing interest and needy or acting where she's not sure if you're interested vs. showing her you have other things going on/other options and are not putting her on a pedestal. Often if I meet someone I really like I think I may come on too strong.
