Cupcake Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 I've been reading a lot of post about rebounds, second chances, and dating. Once you've determined that the realtionship is gone for good, with no chances of reconciliation and you've had rebounds and gone through the healing process... How do you know you are truly over that person?
hooghie Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 For me, once I can think about him without feeling anything, I know I'm over him. The opposite of love is indifference.
legrtova Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 my opinion: - you don't think of them much anymore (sometimes even weeks and months) - when you do think of him/her, you smile - you start dating other people and have fun doing so - you do your own things and like it - you don't feel pain, anger, sadness or any negative emotions when you think of that person

Well Said. Bravo...
Art_Critic Posted October 14, 2005 Posted October 14, 2005 I have always felt that when I can look back at them/relationship and laugh then I know I am over them.. I look back at my marriage all the time and laugh..But I didn't start to laugh until about 1.5 years after the divorce.. That is how I knew i was over her/it.
