To me, to be a ‘player’ implies there is some kind of game or manipulation at hand. I think he all but spelled it out for her. And I think there are plenty of reasons besides gameplaying that he would not spell it out for her. SumGuy Posted November 8, 2020 Posted November 8, 2020 For me the player part is saying he was a wealthy real estate guy and had family in the area. The first almost certainly a lie to impress and maybe the second. Add in he said he wanted a relationship not just a hook up, also a lie. To me a player is someone who lies and crafts a fake persona to get laid. Maybe I’m not using the word correctly. 1
