smint Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 Hi dear people, I applied for job in Germany,and I am B1 level in german.Employer called me two times and we talked,and I was talking good but then he said that it will take 4-6 months to come to Germany and that part I didn't understand why.My country is not EU and I don't know.Now it has been a month since noone contacted me. Should I write or is it professional to ask why noone is contacting me.I don't know what should I write. Thank you

Is your profession highly sought after there? If you are this fluent in English and German, try applying to other jobs/countries. It sounds like they were honest with you that you don't have the job and the bureaucracy would be too drawn out.
