dodgers39 Posted October 12, 2005 Posted October 12, 2005 I had a girl send me a message online that found me on one of these internet sites with profiles, etc who lives in the city that i do. She wants to go out and i would like to meet her but just as friends. She on the other hand might be looking for more and I think she's cute but i'm kind of involved. Although, i don't want to close any doors. The involvement: I started seeing a girl a month ago that i used to date last year but its long distance and it has no label. We act pretty serious so i no it would be wrong to see someone else and i've seen her every other wkend or so. How can i tell the girl i met online that i would like to hang out but i am kinda talking with someone? I don't want to make her feel dumb but i don't want to hurt anyone and would like to meet her.
Angelina1433 Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Sounds like you want to have your cake and eat it too. If you are seemingly serious with the girl you are with, then leave the online girl alone. Think about it this way - if you can tell the girl that you are with that you have met someone online and want to meet her, what will her reaction be? Will she be hurt? If so, then either break up with her, or stay with her and leave the other girl alone. However, if the one you are with is fine with it, then go ahead. But the online girl may not be very interested in seeing a man who is also seeing someone quite seriously. I am interested in someone at the moment who is seeing someone else (casually, he says), and he made it clear to me that he was interested in me as well. But until he works out his relationship or whatever it is with the other woman, fugitaboutit. I don't think the girl he is with would be comfortable with him seeing someone else casually. But of course, it's your call...
megabit15 Posted October 13, 2005 Posted October 13, 2005 Sounds like you haven't had the 'exclusive' talk with your LDR, but you personally feel that it is wrong to date two women at the same time.
