I know from experience that these “little things” become much bigger over time. You got a glimpse into the “Do/behave exactly as I want you to, else suffer the consequences” controlling mentality. Men like this rely on your attachment to them so you dismiss it, put up with it and only focus on the good. Serves him right! I bet he wasn’t expecting that today. Congratulations! 1
