Enjoy your life. You had some fun and interesting good times that awakened some feelings and that's great  .

Not everyone we meet is meant for the long haul even if some intense feelings were involved.

It's not a mistake or tragedy, just an experience .

Dating is about getting to know a person and seeing if you want to take it further.  Neither of you did anything wrong in your time together it's just that he decided this wasn't for him and  didn't want to waste anymore of your time.  This usually happens within 2 or 3 months of dating.
