I’ve always been alone. My parents divorced when I was a baby and I never met my dad or my siblings. I was raised by my mom but I was mostly alone since she had to work. I never really managed to make any friends in school except for one person but we don’t really talk anymore. She’s getting married and moved out of town. Which got me thinking if I was ever going to get married. I’m 21 and I’ve never even dated before. I’m thinking at this point I’ll probably die alone. I don’t like it but I’m guessing there’s nothing I can do at this point. Is there anything that I can do to change my situation or am I stuck here for the foreseeable future?

Have you been to therapy? There are likely. a few thought patterns that you need to work through which would open you up to connecting with people. For example if deep down you don’t think you’re worth being loved, that makes it very difficult to form connections with people.

Therapy is a good idea but so is making friends.  Before Covid, what did you do for fun besides go on your computer?   If nothing, what are you interested in?

You live in Georgia which is "open"  Get involved in something.  Join a group.  Go for hikes.  Get involved in your community.  Make some friends 1st then graduate to dating
