When they fake kiss or fake hold hands they are just putting their bodies really close to each other but not actually touching.

They are actually all virgins.

From what I know they do this for a few reasons. 1. To avoid other boys or men from interacting with them. 2. To prevent other boys or men from thinking they are available. 3. They are not interested in having a relationship at the time. 4. To stop other boys or men from looking at them. 5. To stop other boys or men from talking to them. 6. To stop other boys or men from taking an initiative to talk to them. 7. To change their interactions with other boys or men. 8. To save time. 9. For protection.

Even pictures of girls touching each other (shoulder to shoulder to instance) are photoshopped. Girls do not touch each other.

They are all interested in committing to one partner in the end.
