adna89 Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 I worked with him 1 year ago,during our time together we really klicked as friends,both he and I are with other people,he lives with his gf i am married.We had a lot in common i was literally happy every time i saw i would be working with him,he too seemed to.He would always joke am i not your favorite here or you have someone else? I left that work and since then he has texted me a few times,nothing special just how i was doing and so on....i never texted first but always replied in a nice way to his messages. A year later i am about to go back to my old work basically because this job i had did not work out for me.I text him few days ago "Heyyy how are you A,are you still working in X :)? " No reply at all! today i found out he quit his job last month..i just can not stop thinking about him,i wish he could have replied to my message...i try to find a reason why he would ignore me?? any thoughts?

Have you kept in touch through LinkedIn or other social media? Do you know where he is working now? Don't take it personally. You'll make new friends when you return to work.

Add all your coworkers and former coworkers on LinkedIn. Don't play games, because you weren't dating so why not stay in touch?
