If we all feared to do things because of rejection, none of us would get anywhere in life.
Put yourself out of your comfort zone. Message him.   
He already added you back , so assuming he isn’t just collecting followers , you have nothing to lose. The hard part is already out of the way.  You don’t know each other , so who cares what he thinks?! You know your own value , and he will either see it or be blind to it.  What’s for you won’t pass you by.
