Girl lied about her plans. How should I handle the situation? Am I being too petty?

Yes, except that I am going to wait till I am moving next week. Because right now we have the same group of friends and it would just make it awkward. When I'm gone, no one really cares no more.

You act like shes your gf who lied and cheated.

Shes not your gf. You two are nothing.

If she didn't want you to know she was meeting a guy then thats her business.

She doesnt owe you anything at all.

You don't have to delete or block her if you don't want to.  While you still have the same friend group being the bigger person & remaining civil is the way to go.  Once you are at college, she will in fact become irrelevant in your life.

Eh, if you're moving away anyway there was no point trying to start something with her (or anyone local) now. 

In a couple months time, being away at school, she will be a mere blip on your life timeline. Don't stress it. Just let her fade into the background.
