Do you struggle with social cues and personal interactions with other people in your life, OP?

Are you prone to tantrums?

Spank each other. Problem solved.

If I guy disappeared on me for 3 weeks I would assume he broke up with me via ghosting and that I was single again.

Damn, its times like this I don't feel bad about having a vibrator over a man.

Right?! I'm surprised she's even talking to him. The things people will put up with... oy vey!

Go re-read the first post of this thread...

admittedly I haven’t been the best boyfriend.

I’ll just get angry and shut down and won’t talk to her for weeks.

Well I did this about a month ago. She called me to ask what sides she should bring to dinner. I don’t know why but I just thought she had attitude so I just hung up on her and didn’t talk to her for about 3 weeks.

I guess all that got past you.

go crack open his previous posts and read how he accused her of lying when his dog bit her and how he wanted her to get rid of her dog; THEN come back. No one is buying this nonsense you're trying to sell.

He's been bringing the pain to her for some time...  and as has been said before, had old granddad not gotten ill, the fact still remains that he threw cash at her and then flung his aunt's pearls at her because he didn't feel someone he ghosted for over 3 weeks over his childishness was worth him arsing himself.

Oh dear lord, that was well said.

I'm thinking this thread should be merged with the thread in the Proselytization  and Warmongreing thread regarding narcissists-psychopaths-and-manipulators

What section is that thread in?  I'd love to take a read.

And yeah, this thread does seem like it would belong there too, nothing seems to be sinking in, which reflects a lack of empathy.

But who knows, he could be messing with us too.

Yeah, that's why I stopped entertaining the thread ;)   I've gotten caught up in threads where we give advice, the thread starter counters it with all kinds of spin, etc. and it goes on for pages and pages in a circle.  The behavior and attitude of the OP seems a little too outrageous/exaggerated.  The thread about narcissists is in the Proselytization and Warmongering section.

Thanks RH,  I found it!  I'm alone for two nights so that should keep me entertained while I drink wine and eat pizza.

Agree with you about certain threads too, it can get exhausting sometimes.

There were times when I was raising my kids when I would have given my right arm to be in your position :)

if your partner acted like that wouldn’t you be put off too?

Not if I was treating her like absolute crap and abusive like you have been to her.

But she apologised. Which is more than anyone  can say for him.

He vanished into thin air for weeks on end. That's basically emotional abuse.

And sounds like it isnt the first time hes behaved in this manner.
