Hotmess118 Posted August 19, 2020 Posted August 19, 2020 If you lived far away from each other sure I'd accept the "I'm working too much" thing, but you're literally neighbors it's convenient and easy to hang out. What does she do for work? I don't think you should totally write her off, but I'd definitely proceed with caution as it seems like she has some hang ups. Did you ever find out why she was asking around about you in the first place?

Did you ever find out why she was asking around about you in the first place? She’s works as a manager in a bank. I know she’s been busy with work. The night we hung out properly in both our houses we had a long chat inbetween everything else and she did acknowledge she was interested which was why she initiated everything. Things were good for 3/4 days after then, flirty messages. I’m really not one for chasing people, I’d prefer to spend sometime I person and decide if there is anything there.

At one point in my life I worked 70 hours a week and I still made time to date. She might be putting in some extra time, and be busy with work, but it'd be really easy for her to stop in after work or order dinner in with you without it being a big commitment. I'm not saying that that she's not interested, but it's not a priority for her. She really could just be distracted with work, but you guys are neighbors and that's what raises concerns for me. Even when I've had to deal with work if it was someone I really liked I made more of an effort, but that's also just who I am and my personal style. Everyone is different
