ladybug2021 Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 (edited) I’ve met this guy online and we chat a little and he asked if I wanted to meet for a walk and I agreed. This was last week on Friday and he said he can’t that weekend as he was going away and I said I was going to so we can meet next week. Over the weekend I said Hi to him and we chatted a little, but then he said nothing the whole week. Today I sent him a text asking if he still wants to talk, and he responded saying I am being dramatic! I said no drama at all, I just find it weird he asked me to meet and then said nothing for days. He said he still wants us to meet and etc, I responded I wasn’t sure he was still up for it as he didn’t say anything else, and he hasn’t responded again. Was I being dramatic? He asked me to add each other on Facebook and I am not exactly collecting FB contacts. I think my question was a valid question if he didn’t say anything for days!? Yikes. he seems a bit testy and rude. Following up is not 'drama', it's interest. Ok people are meeting lots of others, people are busy, etc. Do not connect on social media. 1

If someone messaged me saying that, I would call it a day. It’s a big sign of what they will be like in the future and who wants to be treated without compassion?! The guy is an arsehole. You weren’t being dramatic at all. He was being rude. If he expects a date after that with you and gets one, it’s only telling him he can walk all over your feelings and that he is correct. LB, if you're gonna do OLDing, try and let these types of absurd comments roll off. Immediate block and delete. There is absolutely no need for you to respond back, let alone defend yourself or your right to be "dramatic" which your question certainly was NOT! Guys have their issues too with on line dating (generally speaking), and in many cases, such comments or unfounded accusations are them projecting their shyt on to you. When it happens, ignore, let it roll off, block, delete. No questioning yourself, no second guessing your reaction, a simple block and delete will do. 3
