Springsummer Posted May 30, 2020 Posted May 30, 2020 People don't really initiate conversation. And a couple of people that I started convo way before the pandemic stopped response. Is it because they think what's the point to talk that we can't meet now? People don't want to develop emotional attachment without meeting first? Or they are just jerks? Will you keep talking to someone for months you have never met?

Most people don't reply at all or suddenly just stop texting. I think it's because a lot of people are just bored, or they found someone "better." There's way more competition now online... 4 hours ago, Springsummer said: Will you keep talking to someone for months you have never met? I was talking to a girl for about three or four weeks, but through texting I found out that we didn't have that much in common and I lost interest... so I ended it. (I didn't ghost her) I think if it's the right person, you will be able to text for weeks before meeting up. 1
