Drunk dials...should i take them as compliments?

My ex-gf has drunk dialed me 4 times in the past 3 months. Although i don't pick and i call maybe 3 - 4 days after. My question is, should i even take this as a compliment? I know the effects of alchohol and I also know that when your thinking of someone that night you tend to drunk dial them.

 

So what should i do about this? I know that theres no hope of us getting together again, she likes some other guy and im starting to like this other girl.

 

Should i take it as a compliment? :love:

I would take it as an insult. She can't call you when shes sober, but she can when shes drunk? Maybe being drunk makes her feel a little more brave? If you feel you all are not going to get back together then I would let it go. Maybe ask her why shes doing it.

thats the thing..i dont pick up when its 4am in the morning lol..but she does leave messages like "Call me back".

It is never a compliment getting attention from a drunk! People do many things drunk that they would not do sober. How many times have people hooked up with someone because they were drunk. Ignore her and find a sober gal that likes you in the light of day and with a clear mind.

Well, I think drunk callin' is stupid. It's like she doesn't have the nerve to call you when she's her sober self and needs the booze to help call ya. WTF does that mean? I'd tell her NOT to call you again when she's hammered, to grow up and get a life.

when i make drunk calls, usually a friends idea, not mine....they are prank calls. lke we burp or fart.....and of course we know that we will be found out....that is why it is sooo funny.

 

not really a compliment....we just go through our phone's phone list.

my older sister calls me from downstairs on my phone, when i am upstairs and breaths really heavy, or calls top see what i am doing. and when my little sister is on the house phone, we call and beep in then hang up when she answers! Haha! she always falls for it too!:cool:

Maybe not take it as a compliment! As mentioned before, drunks often just go through the phone list. I remember an evening with some friends we'd scroll through until someone said "stop!" and had to call whoever (as long as it wasn't a parent or boss or something).

 

Mine landed on this guy I'd kinda stopped seeing and my friend took the phone and pretended to be me. He was about to drive 45 miles to see "me" and sent me a couple texts. Oh man. It was embarrassing even though it wasn't really me. If she is so drunk she doesn't sound like herself - she might not be!

Gawd!!!! what a loser........ if she was that drunk, i would think anyone could tell. and what loser has to drive 45 miles to take advantage of a drunk someone.....ewwww!
