what would you do in a situation where you have been chatting with a girl oversees and the text convos have changed all of a sudden. so she used to respond positively to my cheesey flirty texts and now she doesnt or she just ignores messages.

the last text she commented on a pic of me lying in bed, and i made a comment how it would be better if she was lying here with me and that i hope she was a good cuddler.

then a day later sent her a pic of my dish i cooked. before she used to respond and respond to the messages about how she wishes she could cuddle me or how it would be nice if she was lying in my bed.

so what do i do if she ever reaches out again? would u reply or just ignore? because i think its rude shes ignored me and clearly has shown a lack of interest all of a sudden which can be seen with her lack of flirting. also as a side note it was fun texting when she was flirting bak and into me. i dont find it fun anymore

I would stop communication. What's the point if you can't meet in person?

I think she's lost interest and is hoping you'll take the hint.

She has lost interest.

It's over.

Move on.

Its difficult to meet people in the same city now with covid-19 madness, I cant imagine how you guys will work on a long distance (international) relationship.

There is no point, move on and find a girl in your city :)

Few texts with her might be all the female attention you will get for a while,

give it a rest for a week and whenever both of you are bored it ought to spark up again.

It's possible she finds the flirting corny and decided not to encourage you doing that. It's kind of weird to be sexting with someone you've never met. I imagine she realizes what you're doing on the other end. This is a dead-end road anyway as others have said.

Long distance.....you were a short term distraction. You can’t possibly take any of this or anything THAT seriously. It is what it is....simple flirtation, move on.

It would be very weird to have a man I never met texting pictures of him lying on a bed and suggesting that he hoped I was good at cuddling... I’m sorry, but that just went from long distance pen pal to creepy.  Perhaps, she decided that this was too strange and she has clearly decided to end all communication.

Distance with the same metropolitan area is complicated enough. Going back and forth with someone in another country is considerably more difficult. With COVID to add... she is not interested and sees the futility in continuing communication with you. Even without COVID, the chances are SLIM....to none.

It drives me nuts when I see people talking to a woman or man who lives across the world. Or even states away.

What is the point? You cannot meet and all the time you’re investing into the person is pointless. You could spend that time dating local where you can actually meet and date.

I would just move on. She doesn’t owe you anything and you can’t expect much from this situation in the first place.

Some people just can't seem to get any dates with men or women who live near them, so they decide to cast a wide net. (I'm not saying that's also the OP btw) It's not ideal, but I guess it's better than nothing

but it is nothing--especially when they can leave you hanging and evaporate without so much as a "by your leave"...

It's done. Just move on. If she's less invested than before, she just isn't interested if she ever really was. It's a hard read with someone you've never met.

Grew up in the generation that cannot read those four words without thinking of City High loll. As for what I would do..I would focus on someone more local...

i have met this girl a few times. i go to the states a lot. and its not creepy when she has bee  replying before saying i want to kiss u etc.

anyways its all over. she just sent me this long brutal rejection message which explains her coldness the last 2 weeks and why the sudden U turn from being into me to being cold. thoughts guys/girls?

"Hey... so I have to be honest with you. I’ve been trying to find a kind and friendly way to say to you that I’m just not interested in hanging out any more. I tried over the phone that one day to tell you I’m not interested in anything and that my sponsor wants me to cut out men entirely right now but I really couldn’t get the right words out to make that clear. I know there’s not a real logical reason why we can’t be friends & you’ve done nothing wrong but I’m trying to simplify my life right now and that means focusing on the friendships and people and activities that matter the most to me and are a present part of my reality. I know it’s just a phone call or a movie or a text message & it seems easy enough without much investment, but I’m really trying to cut out the excess things that aren’t in line with my path & priorities. I’ve been fractured in too many directions. While I’ve enjoyed talking to you these past few months I’m just really not interested in spending any more time together. I feel inauthentic by trying to pretend its something I want to do. I’m really sorry. I haven’t known how to say that to you without seeming like a total bitch, so I just avoid it and ignore messages. But I really didn’t want to just ghost you again without saying something. And again... it has nothing to do with you. It’s just where my head & priorities are at. I’m sure you’ll hate me for opening up the friendship again only to close it off entirely again... and I’m sorry if it makes you angry or hurts you. I just can’t keep pretending and putting time in places I don’t want to. I wish you the best. I really do. And good luck with your new business! I’m sorry.:

If that is the message you posted its not "brutal" in any way, but it is definitely a rejection.
It can't be unexpected surely?
People here have been telling you that for weeks in this thread and in your previous one.

Don't contact her anymore, OP

She's been very clear she is not interested in continuing to talk. Delete her number so you're not tempted.
