MadameLilith Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 About three months ago I met a guy through an internet dating site. We met about a fortnight afterward after several phonecalls. He was very open with details - phone number etc and he called me after two emails. I have met his family - he has met my mum and my friends, even my boss!! and we get on like a house on fire. We have been out about 7 times I suppose and had a great time. We spend hours on the phone everyday talking about EVERYTHING however we have trouble seeing each other regularly as we live about 120kms away from each other but we usually get together each weekend somewhere!! So what is the problem you are asking? Well so far there has been no real physicality at all - I get a kiss on the cheek "hello" and "goodbye" but apart from that nothing.......... Now I am having trouble here judging whether or not I should make the first move. I have never been really good at this boy/girl stuff! I just don't want to scare him away by being to forward!! ReluctantRomeo Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 He could be taking it slowly. Or he could be shy. Or something else might be going on. There are two ways you can approach this. Direct. Next time you're with him, ask how he feels. You could make the question more subtle if you like... or come right out with it. Indirect. Find excuses to touch and make contact. "Oooooh my back aches, need a rub" for example.
