Unless we want violence, I think we have to let them. I don't think we have a choice. Hopefully schools and nursing homes will remain closed and the majority of people who choose to social distance and stay home will be able to continue to do so. The pandemic alone is awful enough, this level of resistance to decency and common sense is beyond what my brain can process. I don't really wish anything bad on anyone, but I'm wondering how many protesters will end up with the virus as a result of having participated in the protest crowds. I don't remember whether that guy with the van covered in Trump and RW stickers who sent bombs to Democrats and press outlets was tried as a terrorist, do you?
