sod601
My girlfriend who I have been in a long distance relationship on and off for ten years left me for another guy this woman claimed she wanted a future with me I was ready to move up there with this year because my job was ending soon she throws this dude in my face talking about he gives her money every payday and I respond with like I have for the past three years she cant respond I ask why is she taking her son away from me after she promised no matter what happens between us I ask why choose her him over me she says cause she can. She says I'm annoying by blowing up her phone but she did the same thing when I broke up with her In the past she's cheated on me and I never forgave her for it and I hold it against even though I loved her I always accused of cheating and I have jealousy I'll always be apart of his life now she won't respond to me when I ask can come pick him up and spend time with him she's ignoring my calls and texts I lose my temper one night and text her she says I'm just mad because I gave her son a gift and she's not giving me any attention I've tried apologizing to her but she won't respond I asked her does she want me out of her she tells me to leave her alone but when I ask why she ignores I would leave her alone if she tells me why I'm tired of this on and off relationship the only reason I stuck around because I grow to love her son how can I move from this nightmare I gave my all to this relationship only to get stabbed in the back
preraph
This is why people shouldn't introduce everyone to their kids unless it's really serious and if it's long distance it's not serious. You need to move on. there's no reason you should continue to have a relationship with her son. I'm sure she'll explain it to him the best she can. You need to start dating local people. Long-distance stuff just doesn't hardly ever work out. Sorry you're hurting and I'm sorry if this affects her son, but you'll both get over it and the move on, and the sooner you do it the better. Mystery4u
My first 'love' was a long distance relationship for just over 3 years and she left me for another man who promised to buy her anything she wanted, as she wanted security for her and her daughter. Back then I was young and didn't have the resources or experience to close the distance gap for good. Good thing I didn't, although at the time I was distraught. Also found out she had been cheating on me. Honestly, time is the only way to move on. Stop communicating with her completely. It's over. Took me about 1 year until I was ready to date again. Take each day as it comes and you will reach the day when you don't even think about her. It might not seem possible now but it will, with time. It's the only way.

preraph
She sounds like a gold digger anyway. Please don't even be tempted to start sending her money. She may have made up the whole thing when she found out you might actually move there. I think you just need to face the fact that she's not who you hoped she was, and digest that information and realize you were in love with who you hoped she was.

Focus on yourself, learn from the experience and one day you will meet someone who appreciates you for you.
GeorgiaPeach1
Dude, this is nowhere near a good, healthy relationship. No relationship is perfect, but this is some Young and the Restless type nonsense. Don't you want more for yourself? Edited April 4, 2020 by GeorgiaPeach1
