Last time I posted, it was about a perceived stalker...now this?!? I'm starting to dub myself as being highly random... anywho...

I've been involved in long relationships collectively for the past 7 years, but I am preparing to leave my LDR (2 years old) to be on my own.

I wanted to know what the "rules" are for dating? Like, I don't want to date just one guy and have him believe I'm looking for a relationship more than that when I'm not. I am also abstaining at this time, so I want to make sure I don't lead anyone on. Is it okay to date more than one person at once? Like, I would most definitely inform the guys, cuz I think that's not fair if I don't (I'd want to know if I was faced with this).

LOL, I feel a little dumb asking these questions, but all I'm "skilled" at is maintaining long relationships. I've never been on this side of the tracks!

Any advice is cool...thanxs!

I have been in your position for over a year now. Let me warn you, the dating world can be stressful, disappointing, and dangerous at times. I'm still hoping for the rewarding parts of it. So far, I've been let down by guy, after guy. And I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Like you, I took on the mentality that I could date, casually, multiple guys without getting into anything serious. I'm up front with all the guys. I thought they would be happy to know that I'm not high maintenance, or pressuring them for commitment. However, that's not the case.

I've had one night stands. I've had simple conversations with men that never went anywhere then I never heard from them again. I've had mutual dates that led to sex, and then the guys wanted me to have threesome's with them and their friends.

Make sure you are clear on what you want from casual dating so you don't get disappointed, like I have been.
