For about two or three months now, I have been walking by an office window where a very cute man sits. We have always stared at each other, but recently he has started to smile. Last week when I was walking home, passing his office as usual, I saw him in the window and he raised his hand and waved at me. I know it's difficult to say with this little information provided, but would you consider this flirting or pure friendliness?

I know nothing about this man, but his presence still excites me.

Sounds like he's being friendly and maybe finds you attractive... but why wait to find out? Next time you see him just knock on the window, when he comes out start a conversation and ask if he would like to meet up for a drink etc. You will soon have your answer and can then stop guessing.

Nothing ventured nothing GAINED.  It would be nice to read about a SUCCESSFUL connection.  Something uplifting and positive.

Yes, it would be nice to at least say "hi how are you" to him and even just find out his name.  But only if he agrees to do so.

Speak to him or forever hold your peace.

Funny, I've been smiling through the window, at an attractive passerby. Next time I'll hold up a card with my phone number. You could be on the brink of a relationship with......me.

If it isn't me (sorry) you could hold up your contact info for him to respond.to.

Go in and say hi next time... if you’re afraid to because of social distancing, just give him your # then go. Good luck

If he knows you're going to be passing by, I wonder why he hasn't put himself on the sidewalk.  Probably married would be my guess.  And doesn't sound like he gets much work done, honestly....don't start idealizing him.
