lonelyplanetmoon Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 She is responsible for her life and choices. The guilt she is throwing on you is not right nor healthy. If you have concern that you will get sucked back in then do not respond. You may be doing the kinder thing by staying NC in the long run as it will help you both heal faster. sounds like an unhealthy co-dependent relationship.
The Outlaw Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 Just wish her well and leave it at that. No need to get sucked back into an unhealthy relationship.
Author JacobJ29 Posted April 2, 2020 Author Posted April 2, 2020 I'll be honest, I didn't respond and blocked her on there. I feel brutal, but I'm looking after myself. I wouldn't get sucked back in, but I know her....if I open the door, she will flood me. My phone will blow up if she feels she has an avenue to get to me, and I really don't have the need to read someones guilt trips. It will just piss me off. I made the call to get her out of my life and that's where I'm sticking.
