Gaagii Posted March 11, 2020 Posted March 11, 2020 I'm younger so not sure on "protocol". Anyway. My work is seasonal (landscaping). During the 'off-season' the big boss for the entire company more or less disappears & leaves his assistant manager in charge. The assistant manager & I have a good rapport & during the off-season it wasn't unusual for me to stop by the office about work-related stuff & sometimes just to chitchat. Nobody really thinks anything of it (if they do, haven't heard anything). But I'm wondering with the big boss coming back if I should carry on or cut back? This chatting's never interfered in our work & I believe the big boss likes me in a way (he's hard to read sometimes).

Mr. Lucky I already said it doesn't interfere with our work. Sort of hard to when it's mostly work-related chats.
