How do you know if you trust someone?

If you believe that what they say is true and you don't have fears about them deceiving you some way.

I guess you could define it as a level of comfort.

Are you comfortable leaving them alone in your home, while you are out??

Are you comfortable lending them your car??

Are you comfortable allowing them to watch your child, while you run out to get milk??

Are you comfortable with lending them money and knowing they will pay it back??

Are you comfortable telling them your deepest darkest secret and knowing that they will keep your secret and not tell a soul??

Are you comfortable telling them your fears and knowing they won't exploit them??
