This is my method for preventing cold or flu at the first sign. It usually works. I gargle with warm water and salt, then warm water and vinegar, every few hours after I first feel that throat weirdness. I'm being meaning to do it just in case - off I go to gargle. 2

They didn't know its potential. For all they knew it may have been one of the these transient diseases that kill a few people and then essentially disappear or hang around at low levels. Not exactly. There are international protocols to adhere to. And China didn't observe them. There's no going about it. Not sure if people here are aware of the fact that China doesn't have freedom of speech... remember the doctor who tried to speak up and was shut up with force? He died. Now he can't tell us more about it, unfortunately. But the Chinese know. Quote WE on the other hand KNOW its potential and have sat on our hands and are still sitting on our hands... WE have been slow to react Italy wasn't slow to react. Maybe tried a local containment when country containment was needed. We have learned our lesson. We are paying for it. More deaths than 9/11. Individuals aren't heeding the threat. This is the time for government to act and take control over this thing for the good of the entire country. So... we're around 60 million people. Law enforcement is checking everyone out of home 24/7. So far, 8,000 have been fined and could be prosecuted. Now... on US scale, that might mean 200,000 people? How can you manage 200,000 people going to court?? In such a short time span? And as I've read that they were considering getting people out of jail in California... how can you send so many people to jail? It's a war scenario.

So many people I know keep saying it's going to get a little worse and then it's going to pass in a couple of months and things will start going back to some kind of normal. I think they all have Covid already and hypoxia is affecting their brains. But, I'm hoping and praying for the best. 1

Genius. This thing will never get contained. We are spitting in the wind. Maybe the incentive would be if you have it, you get money. People then would get tested, in the hope of getting money.

I don't think there's anyone who needs incentive to get tested. We want to take one if we can. The other problem is that there aren't enough tests to go around anyway. Please have a look at the recommendations below and, if possible, adjust your behavior and actions to the current situation. You have been to a Covid-19 risk area within the past 14 days: Avoid unnecessary contacts/physical human interactions and stay at home for 2 weeks, whether you have symptoms or not.

I guess you mean 7 digits? If a father in a family of four or five gets 100,000 annually, is paying a mortgage and is the sole breadwinner, he may have 60,000 yearly net. Which is $5,000 a month to pay mortgage, buy food, pay the bills, etc. You hardly have anything to save at the end of the month. And if the company closes, that family will need that $1,000 check too. And hardly be enough.

How does that make sense? The most likely guy with virus can go out after 7 days, the less likely with virus after 14? Makes zero sense. I guess they really don't know what they're doing there.

National Guard should participate in relief efforts if the need rises but martial law is going to end up being bad when people become desperate. I would not want to be in the Guard or Reserves. The state game and fish commission waived fishing license requirements for next week to give people something to do I guess. If grocery stores close, they should temporarily open all hunting seasons. I'll be eating fish to avoid the ticks and chiggers lol
