I live in the rural west in a white hot zone and it had been very peaceful and orderly. 2

Why it matters: It doesn't hurt to have a potential treatment on hand, but we're still a very long way from having an approved, clinically tested treatment for the coronavirus. The big picture: Early evidence suggests that chloroquine — an inexpensive anti-malarial drug — may work just as well, if not even better, than remdesivir, a drug owned by Gilead, which is undergoing clinical trials for treatment of the coronavirus." 1

There is a lot more to what's going on in Singapore, and worldwide, for that matter, than one can see in pictures taken by a family member. This post will be held up due to the link, but it's very educational to see the way the cases build. Lots of info. I believe that many of us are grasping at straws because we need comfort, but they're still straws. https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/7e30edc490a5441a874f9efe67bd8b89 Bachman Turner Overdrive -- "You ain't seen nothing yet".

This means that items listed as “Ships & Sold from Pantry” cannot be added to your cart. We apologize for this inconvenience, and are working with our partners to get these items back in stock as quickly as possible. Amazon Pantry finally went down.

I was kinda thinking like that because I live in a very rural area, very small town, far from the fray, and yesterday the County announced three confirmed positives and one in our town specifically. I don't think there is such a thing as low risk right now. We have absolutely no idea who is/how many people are walking around carrying this thing.
Azincourt Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 (edited) Quote A 21-year-old Spanish soccer coach died from the coronavirus after finding out he had undiagnosed leukemia while he was in hospital Quote Francisco Garcia, a 21-year-old Spanish soccer coach, was admitted to hospital on Friday March 13 after suffering coronavirus symptoms, according to Malaga Hoy. Quote After being diagnosed with COVID-19, he was also told he was suffering from an undiagnosed form of leukemia. Quote He died on Sunday, becoming Spain's youngest victim of the virus. Lads, I'm starting to think that COVID-19 is a Chinese creation made with the purpose of bringing down the western economy and population, to make it easier for their economy and military forces to take over the USA and Europe. Don't quote me on that. It's just a suspicion but I can't shake it off. Edited March 19, 2020 by Azincourt

Azincourt Posted March 19, 2020 Posted March 19, 2020 Bill Gates donated $100 millions to help with the corona virus issue. Let's see how much money Jeff Bezos. First let's see if he's going to give his workers paid ''holidays' instead of appealing to his workers to donate their sick days off to each other

I work in cardiology, so we have a lot of elective procedures. Last night, I started thinking that they will probably cancel those procedures. They could pull me to a different part of the hospital. So I guess I don't know if I will be in a low risk area anymore. Edited March 19, 2020 by BC1980 1

Where the drug companies can help immediately is work together, firstly to ensure all citizens get access to meds they need and to share information about local and national shortages. Then long-term to share information on developing medicines and vaccines. All this has shown us that cooperation and advancement of science is what is important- not excessive profits.

Again, you don't know who does or does not have it and being in a hospital environment, where sick people would be going and not tested, puts you at risk. I'm surprised you haven't been issued a mask at least. Or, have you?
