So I asked him: Me: You said that you once I leave for another position you’ll be willing to try again but something tells me you will not want to try again and you’re just being nice to make me believe there is hope. So let me know if that is the case because then I can move on with my life. Him: I told you I wanted you to work towards moving on with yourself regardless of me. Me: Didn’t answer my question. You’re too much of a coward to tell me there’s no hope in the future. But everything happens for a reason. You’ll get what you deserve, and you’ll see what it feels like to be on the other side. Good riddens to the man that plays games!!! I feel great after doing that. Also, I got my answer. Sad that he couldn’t just say it. Now I can move on with my life 2
scallop Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 It sounds like you're smart, wealthy and probably good looking but just a little bit insecure. So he took you for granted, which created a vicious cycle, until you finally pulled up stakes, and now he's the one feeling insecure. C'est la vie! I'd learn from your past so you can be better for the next guy. Meditate & learn to respond rather than react. Then you can meet a guy who isn't afraid of your potential and doesn't need to keep you down until it crushes you. He had his chance and blew it. 100% NC.
