He's the most awesome person I have ever met my entire life, and I am more comfortable with him than any other guy I have ever dated. I'm 19 years old and he is 23. He's had sexual relations before, but I have not. When we entered the relationship, I informed him IMMEDATLEY that I won't have sex before marrage. This, however, is getting harder and harder to uphold. How this started was a few days ago a friend of mine, my b/f, and I were casually talking about a vacation (I'll call him 'Drake') and I had gone on, where we shared a room alone together for two nights(he's in the military and I'm in college, so privacy is very limited). She got all excited and asked "So you're not a virgin any more?!" Which I informed her I still was. When she asked him to confirm this, he just sort of shlumped his shoulders and gave a regretful"Yes, she is." Answer. Wait a damn minute! I didn't know it was a problem! Later, we talked about it, and he said that he respects my choice, after all it is my body, but he would like me to reconsider my views. He said that he loves me and he wants to make love to me, and that he dosn't see it as just sex, but a large part of a serious, long-term relationship. As I see it, however, is that love is a mind/heart/soul thing, and that we shoulden't *need* sex. For me, even at this point(we've done just about everything but), anything sexual we do is just iceing on the cake, and this is like one of those damn good cakes that dosn't even need the iceing. I don't want this to turn into a sexual relationship. Also, I don't know if I'm ready to give myself so compleatly to someone. This has been bugging me for a while now, so any advice that anyone has would be greatly appreciated!
