UPDATE: I did something wrong and she cried.

Hello. Maria lost her credit card and she needed to take the train to where she originally is from. (She moved to Oslo a couple of years ago from west of Norway)

it took one hour to get her new credit card and I was with her. While we were there she showed me where she went to school and where she lives. It’s just her mother and her sister that lives there now.

I got horny while we were making out and I was being to «touchy». She even called me out for being a «tease» and being too comfortable around her. I didn’t think much about it but when we took the train back to Oslo I noticed that she had a different expression on her face and I knew that something was bothering her and I asked her what it was.

I could see tears in her eyes and It made me sad because I was wondering what’s wrong.

she told me that she don’t know why she is crying and I said that it got to be a reason.

I gave her space and later she told me that it’s because I can’t «finish» what I’ve started when I’m horny. Meaning that she thought I wanted sex at her mother’s home  when I touched her on her boobs and vagina. I explained later that my penis still hurts from yesterday and I can’t control myself.

Yes I was being a tease and I said sorry multiple times. I even said that I got bad Conscience and felt so guilty. I was sad the whole trip because I didn’t want to give her false expression of me not being able to control it. SO I said that I can change and be better.

When we got home we got to talk more about it. We agreed that I need to control myself when I’m horny and finish what I started if I want sex.

She cried because I felt bad that’s it. She knew how I felt and showed emotions. I think she is starting to get feelings for me.

Everything is good right now. Altough I admit that she is totally right that I need to control myself at times. I also think she was cute when she cried. In my opinion it’s just showed she has feelings.

Did she laught at me for no reason?

Yesterday when we were relaxing she suddendly sat on top of my stomach so that I don’t fall asleep. That’s when she broke out with laughter and I could not figure out what was so funny so I asked her but she didn’t respond to my question.

I laughed too but I did it because I was playing along. We just stare at each other and broke out in tears...

Keeves1, you are overly paranoid.

You most probably made a face or something without realizing.

If things are going great between you then stop worrying.

She was probably thinking of something funny that nothing to do with you. Really, you need to stop overanalyzing everything and enjoy what you have. Were you hurt in the past to be so paranoid?

Keeves listen to JTSW and fishlips.  Try not to analyze every little thing and worry about things.

I really need help on this one!

It seems like this thread is almost dead as no one answers but I hope you readers would help me on this one because trust me I do need it! I have so many questions

before I start: Fishlips and JTSW - Yeah I was completely overanalyzing.

Next week Maria and I will visit her father which is 2 hours away from Oslo. Her parents are divorced BTW

Her father also offered us to stay the night even when I suggested that we stay in a hotel.

Her father lives with another woman and the question is: What should I bring to Maria’s father and hi’s wife? I was thinking chocolate for her and wine for him or the opposite.

I bought red wine when I first visited Maria’s grandmother but is it okay if I bring wine or whiskey again to her father?

Also what kind of questions should I ask them when we are at the dinner table?

If you know that they like chocolate and wine, that is a good option. When I first met my mother in law, we talked about cats, as both of us like them. It turned out that we got along fine. Find something that her dad is interested in...she should know. If you have a similar interest, that should do the trick.

Is there any reason why you are so anxious all the time? Your relationship seems to be progressing. You are meeting her loved ones. That's good!

You're overthinking this. Just bring them something simple, but thoughtful. Don't go overboard. Straighten up when you meet them. Meeting the parents/loved ones is a big step, but you're going to want to leave a lasting, positive impression.

We don't know what these people like.

Is it customary to bring a gift?

I know that her father likes fitness stuff. But usually you bring something the first time you visit someone so I thought I would bring something to them.

a gift would be to much

Who doesn’t like chocolate? I think I should bring them that xD well I know that her father is into fitness.

I think it’s because I want my relationship to go well but other than that I have noe idea to why I’m anxious all the time hahaha

Hello again.

this is a update from almost two weeks with being with Maria. It’s also possible that I’m overanalyzing again.

So from monday last week to this monday me and my GF have been with each other. Also we were together a week before that as well so it counts as we staying with each other for two weeks.

At the beginning it all went normal. We enjoyed each other company even if we were not talking. Everything was right. But right at the end I felt something unusual with my behaviour.

Behaviour like using my phone and ignoring her and say «yeah» even when she’s not finishing with her sentence. Not only that but I went and did my own things like washing my dirty shoes while she was cutting up carrots.

Also reminding her that she forgot her shoes... almost like me telling her that her stuff is not welcome here

I think she got tired of me as well when she called me out for not having common sense and I could see that she was not smiling when we were on our way to the buss station. Also she was hating on me putting everything in a plastic bag. It’s unlike her being so against me for me doing me.

The reason could possible be that we both got tired of each other or Am I just overanalyzing again?

At this point I feel unease that she will hate me even more or have a change of attitude next time.

I will meet her this saturday since it’s our 1 anniversary.

Keeves1, for crying out loud get a grip.

None of this is even a problem.

Except maybe being on your phone and ignoring her (That's rude).

But none of what you said is reason for her to hate you.

It's all normal.

Are you tired of her?

You almost seem to be looking for a reason to sabotage your relationship. Maria seems like a nice girl. Don't let her get away.

Don't let this be a case of "getting what you wished for."

If you're tired of her then the respectable thing to do is walk away.

Don't keep stringing her along just to see how it goes.

Keeves,

I agree with JTSW that you should let Maria go if you're not feeling her anymore. However, please make sure that's the case before you do it. I've had friends who THOUGHT they were getting tired of someone and let them go for greener pastures, only to desperately want that person back once they realized what they were missing. Some of them reunited and got married. Others went on the the sad realization that said person moved on and found someone else who appreciated them more. Tread carefully, and good luck!

It's not abnormal to get a little sick of or irritated with a person if you've been around them nonstop for a long period of time.  It seems like you two are spending a lot of time together for such a new relationship, which isn't always a good thing.  Maybe try to cut back?  You have plenty of time -- no need to spend every minute together all the time.

After 2 weeks of day in/day out contact with anyone, I would be sick of them. I'd be sick of anyone after 2 weeks day in and day out. This is a case of too much, too soon

I can't even handle my own mother  in that capacity. You need to not spend 2 weeks on top of someone you just met and it is very natural to not only need space, but enjoy space. I see and spend time with my fiance daily because we live together, but we also have our own bedrooms, our own offices, and have our own plans after work. We cannot spend every second together. It is nice when we can disconnect then world for a weekend or a week, but that doesnt happen often. I value my alone time immensely and it is necessary for me. Again, I don't even like my own mother enough to spend this much time wirh her and she is what I consider my bestfriend

We are not meant to spend all day every day with people. It doesnt work for anyone

OP, just roll with it. Dont end it for stupid reasons. Of course you drove one another nuts. Spend less time in each other's faces. You also just met, so it's just too much to assume youd get on perfectly for an entire 2 weeks without getting under one anothers skin.

Of course you should wash your shoes and answer phone calls if you are with someone for a solid two weeks without being separated at all. That's ridiculous. You cant be expected to see someone for 2 weeks and not handle your life outside of that.

My fiance and I both work from home. If we didnt have our own space, quiet time, alone time, friends to go see and our own activities, we would be killing each other and probably would hate one anothers guts by day 7. By day 14, it would be an all out war. Hahahaha
